The Kaaba is a cube-shaped building in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, and is the most sacred site in

Islam the first  building was built by Prophet Abraham and his son Ishmael. All Muslims around

the world face the Kaaba during prayers.Every Muslim must perform the Hajj pilgrimage at least

once in his or her lifetime if they are able to do so.At the end of each year comes to visit the

Kaaba of about 3 million Muslims from around the world.Has passed to build Ibrahim peace be

upon him and his son Ismail to the Kaaba four thousand years ago.

Description of the Kaaba

Kaaba is a cube-shaped building do roughly a height of 15 meters and the ribs 12 meters and 10 meters.

The Kaaba has one door opens   three times a year to wash the inside with Zamzam water.

The Black Stone is a significant feature of the Kaaba Located at the eastern corner of the Kaaba, it is about 30

cm (12 in) in diameter and surrounded by a silver frame.

Dress Kaaba

Consists of five pieces, four of which cover aspects of the Kaaba, the fifth piece is the curtain

that are placed on the door of the Kaaba. The total cost of the dress Kaaba SR 20 million (or

more than $ 5 million), made of pure natural silk is dyed black.

 

And the belt is covered with wire silver plated with gold and surrounded the Ka'bah as a

whole.
